DOMUS ACADEMY НА MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK RUSSIA

 26-й сезон Недели моды Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia представит не только признанных российских модельеров, но и молодых дебютантов. За время своего существования более 60 российских модельеров получили гранты от Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, ведь одной из главных миссий Недели моды в Москве является поддержка молодых талантов. Впервые в рамках российской недели моды "Мерседес-Бенц" свои коллекции представят  выпускники Domus Academy из Милана. Показ состоится 1 апреля в 15.00 в ЦВЗ  «Манеж» (Манежная площадь, д.1). В рамках Недели моды Domus Academy выберет одного молодого российского участника для предоставления гранта на обучение в Милане.

Свои коллекции представят четверо выпускников 2012 года академии Domus мастер-курса «Дизайн одежды». Выпускные проекты созданы в сотрудничестве с такими лидерами моды, как модельер Антонио Берарди и бренд Frankie Morello.

Концепцию коллекции румынского дизайнера Алины Бьянки Чиоботару The Seven Deadly Sins («7 смертных грехов») можно охватить одним словом debauche (от фр. «изобилие, распущенность, чрезмерность). Российский дизайнер Яна Кушнарева в своей коллекции «Эволюция» использует только натуральные материалы, такие как шелк, шерсть, кожа и мех, обыгрывая идею эволюции посредством трансформации на примере растений. Кора Мария Белотто из Италии представит коллекцию Solve Et Coagula («растворяй и сгущай»), вдохновленную костюмами алхимиков и священнослужителей. Видение Теи Чахнашвили из Грузии основано на контрасте архитектурных форм, совмещенных с мягкими деталями и ровными линиями, и женской чувственностью. Ее коллекция In Between («между») показывает огромную разницу между восприятием человека и реальностью.

Завершающим аккордом совместного проекта Domus Academy и Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia станет выбор наиболее яркого молодого российского дизайнера-участника текущего модного сезона, которому представится счастливая возможность пройти бесплатный летний курс обучения в Милане.

Domus Academy была основана в Милане в 1982 году. Это первое учебное заведение в Италии, которое специализируется на постдипломном образовании по направлениям «мода» и «дизайн». Студенты, обучающиеся по специальности «мода», следуют по стопам знаменитого дизайнера Джанфранко Ферре, который внес существенный вклад в развитие первой программы Fashion Design в Domus Academy.

Joint show by Domus Academy graduates at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia

Visitors of the 26^th season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia will be pleased by the shows of not only recognized fashion designers but by newcomers’ collections as well. More than 60 Russian designers have received grants and support from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia since one of the Fashion week’s main goals is to support and promote talented designers.  For the first time Domus Academy graduates will present their collections at Russian fashion week. The show is scheduled on April 1 at 15:00 in the Central Exhibition Hall “Manege” (1 Manezhnaya Square)

Four Domus Academy 2012 graduates in Master in Fashion Design program will present their collections.

The collection of Alina Bianca Ciobataru will go under the name “The Seven Deadly Sins”. The entire concept of the collection is glued by the one word: debauche (abundance, libertinage, excess, profusion, luxure, orgie, perversion, inconduite, etalage). The whole collection is created in collaboration with Frankie Morello.

Italy's Cora Maria Bellotto will present her collection “Solve et coagula”, Alchemy motto which means “dissolve and coagulate”. It suggests that something must be broken down before it can be built up. The work on her final master project “Solve et Coagula”, a womenswear collection inspired by alchemy and ecclesiastic costumes has been developed under the supervision of British designer Antonio Berardi.

Georgia's Tea Chakhnashvili created collection “In Between» based on the contrast of architectural shapes combined with soft pieces with clean lines and feminine sensuality. The concept of the project shows the huge gap BETWEEN individual’s perception and reality.
In this collection the man’s tailoring is used next to non-tailored feminine softness. The shapes of the body may appear covered and visible simultaneously by means of different architectural shapes and different weight of materials, which make the contrast as well. The collection is created in collaboration with Antonio Berardi.

Russian designer Yana Kushnareva will present her collection “Evolution” made in collaboration with Frankie Morello. The collection’s concept is based on the evolution through transformation by the example of plants. Transformation of shape, size, colour and texture. By analogy with plants the collection applies a division into two parts – visible and invisible. Using prints that may appear invisible at first sight makes the effect. The collection is created from natural materials such as silk, wool, leather and fur.

The final event of Domus Academy collaboration with Mercedes0Benz Fashion Week Russia will be the choice of the best young Russian designer participant of this season who will be offered an opportunity to take free summer courses in Milan.

Domus Academy was founded in 1982 in Milan. It is the first postgraduate school in Italy, majoring in “fashion” and “design”.  The students of the Master course in Fashion Design follow the steps of famous designer Gianfranco Ferre who contributed much in the development of the first Fashion Design program.
